| I'm a Spanish motion designer, based in Toronto, now working as freelancer.
I was studying Graphic and Motion Design in a couple schools in Madrid, Spain. I learned more about this profession working as freelancer and mostly working as Creative Director at Zapping in Madrid.
There I improved in my conceptual art. Now, to find the concept in each project is my first reason to design. |

| What lured you to Toronto? |
| I think destiny and causality is the reason to be here.
In 2005 I was visiting Toronto with my family. I felt a good connection with the people and the city, so I tried to find a job here. After two years I'm thankful to Front and Big Studios for give me the opportunity to work with them.
In a short time I'll move to Los Angeles with my fiance Luna. We're excited with this new step in our life.
I keep good memories of Toronto. Here, I've grown as a person and professional designer. |

| How would you describe the design/motion community in Toronto? |
| In Toronto there are really good designers and companies. The quality is high. In design companies there are many people from different countries. It's great. The diversity and culture in the studios enhances the group’s perspective and brings fresh ideas to the final projects. |

| Your work shows a great sense for motion and your boards show impressive design sensibility. Which did you start exploring first? |
My base is design, but I use design like a way to become a motion designer.
There are many design styles, but I really like communicate by the emotion. I feel comfortable with that kind of design. I seek inside the people and myself the essence of each project. I use my five senses when I'm working. It's part of my work process.
Also, I use color as emotional representative of the work. Through color you can transmit what you mean.
I haven't any preference between 2D and 3D, depend which one represent better the idea.
Sometimes it's easy to communicate the emotion, in other cases not so easy. Depending on how you feel and many other small sparks around you. |

| How would you define inspiration? |
| Inspiration is a momentum. When I feel all that I'm doing is easy to catch the concept and design.
I've a Moleskine Sketchbook with me, in any moment can appear the idea and you must to be “awake” to keep this momentum.
Normally, I haven't inspiration sitting in front of my computer. I need to do something else.
Love and Life inspired me. I found in small details my inspiration. Emotion is very important when you're in the creative process. |
