Goodby Silverstein & Partners: Adobe Virtual Museum

Goodby Silverstein & Partners collaborated with Adobe in creating the Adobe Virtual Museum which launched this month after being unveiled at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival last June.

Unlike any space created before it, the AVM is entirely digital. The virtual building was designed by Italian architect Filippo Innocenti. Traverse the virtual building and discover showcases in photography, product development and broadcast communications. “our mission is to showcase and preserve groundbreaking digital work and expert commentary to illustrate how digital media shapes and impacts today’s society. Here, artists and innovators have the unique freedom to create work that wouldn’t be possible in a traditional museum.”

“… In the coming months, exhibits will feature video artist Tony Oursler, RISD President John Maeda and Japanese artist Mariko Mori.”

The Strange Attractor – Still Life: Kim Høltermand

Our friends over at The Strange Attractor have partnered up with Lomography, starting a new feature series — “Still Life” … the idea being; TSA picks an artist, sends them a camera and some film, they shoot it and ship it back, and TSA develops and posts. It’s kind of a photo interview series. First up, Kim Høltermand … “Kim is a designer turned photographer known for his unique style of stunning architecture, serene nature, and beautiful night photography. We sent Kim a Diana F+ camera and a couple rolls of film and he produced this great set of photos for us.”

Decay never looked so nice.

Deserted Homes

Some stunning shots of sobering and somber predicament by photographer Sigal Ben David. This type of work has always been a sort of guilty pleaser.
