Bungalow: La Caixa spot + OFFF Barcelona

Barcelona based Bungalow have some impressive illustration and animation skills. Bungalow recently directed and animated this spot for La Caixa‘s national campaign, via Wunderman. Also, if you are lucky enough to be in Barcelona from June 9th – 11th, Bungalow will also be giving a talk at OFFF Barcelona’s Open Room.

SIT: debut U.S exhibition

Artist SIT has been part of the Amsterdam creative scene for many years. Doing action painting, graphic design, advertising and more until he got fed up. He went back to square one to find his true essence. Back to head and handcraft. SIT will be debuting in the U.S with an exhibition at C.A.V.E Gallery in Venice C.A from Friday April 8th – May 7.

F5: Hi-Sim + final speakers announced

Well it looks like F5 is pretty good at keeping secrets. The final batch of speakers were announced and its impressive: Mark Romanek, Adam Bly, Neil Huxley, PressPausePlay and Tanya Morgan. See the entire speaker lineup here.

The video above, which is completely jaw dropping, was created by Hi-Sim for the F5 RE:PLAY film festival which brings together a number of the best studios and independent directors out there to create short films on the simple topic of happiness. Hi-Sim are commercial/music video directors represented by RSA.

Tyler Stout: Kill Bill ~ The Whole Bloody Affair ~ for Quentin Tarantino

Tyler Stout’s most recent project makes me really want to get my hands on one of these … from the Mondo Blog: “About three weeks ago, we got a call from Quentin Tarantino’s team asking us if we would be interested in doing a poster for not only the first public screening of QT’s reassembled opus, KILL BILL: THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR, but for a surprise at his birthday screening! Of course, we obliged and yesterday we revealed this masterful work by Tyler Stout!” …. tasty! I follow the Mondo blog regularly now as it serves up some of the best movie illustration posters I’ve ever seen, by some of the best talent in the world.

Kevin Peterson: Gatorade

Kevin Peterson is a San Diego based artist/illustrator/graphic designer with plenty of great skill. Gatorade partnered with Kevin to create the original piece of art seen in the stop-motion video above.

Shan Jiang

Shan Jiang is an incredibly talented illustrator who has been working for I Love Dust in the UK since 2005. The image above is one of several covers Shan has illustrated for The Ride magazine.

Rod Hunt: AIDES Sex Park

Make sure to check out the Glory Hole before you go on the Muff Dive. London based illustrator/artist Rod Hunt recently completed illustration work for this HIV/AIDS prevention ad campaign for French non-profit organization AIDES. Rod worked with San Francisco based agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners illustrating “Welcome to the World of Sex” for AIDES promoting safe sex, awareness and behavioural changes through innovative and provocative imagery. Rod’s Sex Theme Park map has the tagline “The safer you play, the longer you stay” & takes a humorous & revealing approach to the world of human sexuality & safe sex.

Marcos Chin: New Work ~ Why I Draw

I noticed some great new works up for Marcos Chin over at Behance, under a well written essay titled Why I Draw, which is as inspirational as his incredible drawings themselves imho. If you don’t know who Marcos Chin is, he is a talented illustrator raised in Toronto and currently living in NY. His accomplishments are too many to list here so have a look at his site for more info and inspiration.

Mexico based Art Director/Motion Designer Vinny Morales updated Kultnation with several great new projects for the likes of Dixon Baxi and Lifelongfriendship Society, including the id’s above for Movies Now with audio by Echolab and Cypheraudio.
