Award-winning Studio Opens Doors to Top Industry Talent at Job Fair; Participates in the Visionary SIGGRAPH Business Symposium
The Business of the Business
In its second year, the SIGGRAPH Business Symposium provides an intimate, interactive forum for open, frank conversations among leaders and executives in the visual effects, gaming, and media arenas as they explore the present and future of the industry. Visionary leaders and experts gather in Los Angeles, 5 August 2012 at the JW Marriott LA Live Hotel Diamond Ballroom, adjacent to the LA Convention Center and SIGGRAPH 2012.
Emmy award-winning Managing Director and Executive Producer for The Mill Film and Mill TV, Will Cohen, kicks off the symposium presenting in the “The Business of the Business: The State of the Union in 2011-2012” panel in it is morning session at 9:45am.
Joined by a global community of thought leaders such as Carnegie Mellon University, Microsoft Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, and Pokemon Company, this full-day event is an exclusive opportunity for attendees to gain high-level, experiential vantage point insight from industry trendsetters.

Most recently The Mill L.A. team celebrated the addition of several key members, creative directors Clarice Chen and Manija Emran and lead artist Glynn Tebbutt to build on a tradition of excellence.
Clarice Chen is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University whose passion for animation and photography propelled her into a career in VFX and design. Chen has designed for The Oscars, feature Super Fad and numerous commercial spots. “The Mill has empowered me to spread my wings farther than I ever have creatively,” shares Chen. “When you do what you love, you really do not have to work a day in your life.”
Mill L.A. Creative Director Manija Emran is a versatile designer whose recent feats include developing the logo for popular TV reality talent show “Duets”, typography for features Show White and the Huntsman, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, The Help, Rango and The Academy Awards.
Glynn Tebbutt is an award-winning artist and a motion graphics, illustration, and design force to be reckoned with. Tebbut has a knack for directing, music videos and the beach. “I am very growth oriented and The Mill embraces artists who push the boundaries creatively and technically,” shares Glynn. “There is some really exceptional talent here and it inspires me to make bigger and better work.”
