Matthias Winckelmann‘s thesis project: At The End Before The Beginning … a surrealist glorification of interpretation and the modern possibilities of postproduction. A film which doesn’t want to tell a complete story, but surprise the audience with the unexpected. The film is dealing with expectations in cinema, as well as expectations in society. It’s a poetical manifest about human ideals, while visualizing the imagination of a young boy sitting in a train to nowhere.
