Batman: Arkham City
Visual Identity by Trailer ParkVideo Games
Hollywood based Trailer Park began in 1994 as a movie trailer house, working with the likes of Spielberg and Scorsese, has grown into the biggest entertainment marketing and content agency in the world. Working closely with their client WB Games, Trailer Park Video Games helped create the spell binding visual identity package that’s ushering Batman: Arkham City to market. The much-anticipated game, a top contender on Entertainment Weekly’s “10 Videogames We Can’t Wait To Play” list, will be available Oct. 18th.
“Batman is an icon who has lived within popular culture for over 70 years and been expressed in countless ways by scores of talented artists,” says Brian Setzer, Co-director, TPVG. “WB Games gave us the incredible opportunity to create a unique and fresh visual aesthetic to invigorate the masses for next week’s Batman: Arkham City launch.”
TPVG created an integrated campaign, including outdoor, online and TV spots targeted at hardcore gamers, comic fans and hit buyers. Early executions were honored at M16 with a Gold for Standout Print Campaign. And the striking and highly stylized portrayal of the Batman brand was met with critical acclaim by top gaming pubs—gamesradar said “Latest magazine’s cover art make us hot for Batman all over again.”
