X&CO: 2K Games ~ SpecOps

2k Games approached film director Marco Brambilla (a.k.a.: X&CO) with a brief for a new military shooter game based in near-future Dubai. Their goal was to differentiate this shooter game from the others in some unique way … With a tight budget, X&Co directed and produced an entire trailer that supplied the publisher with a 100% accurate sense of how the final piece was going look and feel. The trailer was so well done that the entire aesthetic and storyline was incorporated into the game, and the trailer was the single promotional tool used to promote the new game, “Spec Ops- The Line.”
