Blind shepherded the project from concept to reality, including design, animation, live action production, and editorial. A :60 “Multisport” for the campaign, coming soon.

The National Film Board of Canada (inspiring the name for Boards of Canada) produced this short, directed by Montreal duo Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski … “a stop-motion animated film that takes the viewer on an exhilarating existential journey. The film introduces groundbreaking visual techniques … ” ; tracking human eyes while matching them to stop-motioned puppets in AE. The effect was created by Jason Walker (see behind-the-scenes videos). Madame Tutli-Putli won Best Short Film at Cannes.

To promote their colorful spring and summer collections, Gap enlisted Chris Do and the Blind team to create a video for Danish post-punk duo Sune Rose Wagner and Sharin Foo, better known as The Raveonettes. I love seeing how a project develops like this. I hope more studios will share this type of media with their project releases.
