Born from liquid metal: VCCP‘s latest spot for the Hyundai Getz shows off some stunning cinematography and compositing work. At first I assumed the fluid was CG but it is in most part live-action. The new 1000 fps ‘Phantom HD‘ high-speed camera was used to shoot model cars in huge tanks of silver paint. Clear’s Flame artist Derek Moore composited real Hyundai’s, from 35mm and digital stills, in place of the models.
